Although preparation for the school year takes months to complete, the actual transition from summer break to being back in school takes a matter of minutes. I am always amazed by how quickly and seamless that transition takes place. The staff and students just seem to easily roll back into “school routines.”
I want to take this time to thank our families for working with the school district on in person registration this year. It has been so helpful to have updated contact information for our families and in person registration really allowed that to happen. We have discussed having in person every few years just to be able to clean up information. I would assume we will move back to online registration next year.
It has been a terrific start to the year! We were able to bring in several new, amazing teachers to add to our team! The average years of experience of our new staff members is 12.8 year in education. This group beings a great balance of youth and enthusiasm along with experience and wisdom!
