The Arcola School District plans to provide summer school again during the summer of 2024. Just like the past few years, our plan is to offer breakfast to the students attending but we will not be offering lunch. Historically, we have not had many students take advantage of the summer lunch program and as a result, we plan to dismiss at 11:00 am like we have the past several years and forgo serving lunch.
Because our past history has shown that lunch will not be needed for summer school, there will be a hearing held at 8:45am on January 25, 2024, Regional Office of Education #11, 730 7th St., Charleston, IL 61920 to discuss summer school lunch. Anyone with concerns is welcome to attend the hearing or feel free to contact me directly at tmulligan@arcolaschools.com.
