October 20th - Tomorrow's Teachers Conference at Millikin (can take up to 20 junior or senior students)
-Parkland College will be having its annual Fall Open House on Friday, October 31st, 2025, from 12-2 pm. This will be a great opportunity for students to check out what Parkland can help them accomplish towards their educational goals. While at the Open House, attendees will get the opportunity to meet with representatives from all student services departments including admissions, financial aid, accessibility services, among others. In addition, all academic areas will be available to answer questions including programs in Arts and Sciences, Career Technical Education, Agriculture, Automotive, Aviation, and the Health Professions. All areas will have interactive exhibits that can show future students what they can expect.
There will be a shuttle ferrying guests from our Main Campus to the outlying buildings including Agriculture, Automotive, and Parkland on Mattis with tours available in these spaces. -Parkland College is hosting their annual Student-Parent Info Night on Monday, November 3rd, from 5:30–7:30 PM! The event will take place in the Parkland Student Union cafeteria. This evening event will feature a Parkland resource fair from 5:30–6:00 PM, where students and their families can talk with many different Parkland departments and resources. They will also have some light snacks and refreshments. After the fair, they will have a one-hour presentation including information on Admissions, Parkland Pathway, Financial Aid, and Career Services, ending with a student panel question-and-answer session! Not only that, but they are also raffling off a $500 scholarship to one lucky prospective student for the Fall 2026 semester! (Student must be present to win.) Seniors, look in your google classroom for the registration link!
