Arcola Jr. Sr. High School

Tuesday, we were honored to host our friends and community members who serve and served in the United States military.

We hope our veterans enjoyed the luncheon provided by our FCCLA and culinary arts classes, taught by Mrs. Desi Thomas. The luncheon was planned by Christy Johns and Randi Vandeveer.

Then, our student directors - Mykah Gomez, Noah Nelson, Hayden Hunter, Laney Nelson and Carolina Torres - produced a wonderful program featuring our band and choir, student emcees, and elementary and junior high essay contest winners. The fourth grade also read a poem to our veterans!

Each year we feel blessed to be able to honor our veterans and active military! Thank you, Arcola community, for supporting our celebration!
