On Wednesday, 21 AHS juniors and seniors visited the campus of Illinois State University in Bloomington. The visit is part of the Guidance Department's commitment to helping potentially college-bound students make informed decisions.
At ISU, students learned about the admissions process, were able to ask questions to admissions counselors, and toured the campus, including the Bone Student Center.
AHS students also met ISU students, and were able to learn more about living on campus, student activities, dorm life and meal options.
Throughout the year, the Guidance Department offers campus visits to Illinois colleges. In order to go, students who are interested sign up in advance in the Guidance Office.
