What is leadership? How can students develop as leaders within AHS? These are questions Rider Nation students tackle each year.
A few weeks ago, 21 members of Rider Nation attended a Josten's Renaissance Leadership Conference at Parkland College, where the focus was on student leadership, building positive school culture, and actionable strategies for educators and student leaders. A key theme: "Culture is built in tiny moments".
Led by guest speakers Dr. Phil Campbell (@drphilcampbell) and Lori (@lorilspeaks), students picked up several new ideas they hope to implement at AHS throughout the year.
Rider Nation is a club for AHS students whose goal is to spread positivity, build morale, and develop leadership skills in our students. Any student, freshmen through senior, is welcome to join.
