📚 Arcola School District - In-Person Registration 📝
The Arcola School District will be holding in-person registration for all returning students (PreK–12) on the following dates:
📅 Tuesday, July 29 – 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
📅 Wednesday, July 30 – 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM
📍 Location: Arcola Jr. High Gym
✅ A parent or guardian must attend to register their student(s) during one of these times.
📌 Important Info:
If you cannot attend one of the scheduled times, please call the school office at 217-268-4962 to schedule an alternate appointment.
New students should call the office to set up a registration time
NEW PreK students will be contacted by the office.
📂 Why In-Person?
We’re moving to in-person registration this year to improve the accuracy of student data.
🏠 Proof of Residency Required
Every household must bring:
A driver’s license or state ID
A utility bill (must show your name, address, and be dated within the last month)
📌 Students will not be allowed to start school without this documentation by August 13.

Bring any required medical forms with you.

Summer EBT, or SUN Bucks, is a nutrition program authorized by the U.S. Department of
Agriculture (USDA) to help families buy food for their school-aged children during the summer. Summer
EBT for 2025 will provide a $120 annual benefit to eligible children via an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT)

On Fridays at Arcola Jr/Sr High School, the Principal Advisory Committee has started a "Finding Positive" initiative. Each week a student will write a note on the library window and call down a student and tell them of the positive impact they made on them during the week. Those students will then recognize another person the following week, and so on. It's a weekly reminder of the great people and students we have here at Arcola Jr/Sr High School.

Tomorrow night is senior night for football, band, color guard and cheer. Game will begin at 7pm. Senior introductions will be at 6:30pm. If you are a parent of a senior being recognized, please be on the north end of the track by 6:15pm. Go Riders!

The Arcola School District will be implementing a late start today, Tuesday, January 23. Everything, including bus routes, will be running two hours later than normal with a school start time of 10:00 am. There will no morning preschool and breakfast will not be served.
