The Arcola School District is seeking candidates for a full-time custodian to work from 9:30 am – 6:00 pm. The position will primarily include cleaning the cafeteria, cleaning the 1917 high school building, setting up for games, etc. Applicants should mail or e-mail letter of interest to the Ken Vogt at kvogt@arcolaschools.com.

Due to a variety of reasons, the Arcola School District is postponing the start of school until Monday, August 24. We apologize for the late notice and change of plans but we feel this is the best course of action considering the current circumstances.
The Arcola School District was notified this weekend that
a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. The district is working with the Douglas County Health Department to ensure that the necessary individuals are quarantined for the required amount of time. The rooms in the facility where the staff member worked will be cleaned accordingly to CDC protocols.
