The deadline to purchase iPad insurance is September 1st.
iPad insurance cost $15 per student, per year, and it covers any accidental breakage to the iPad. It does not cover the case, charger, or Apple Pencil. iPad insurance is offered to 7th - 12th grade students only. Payments can be giving to Mrs. Hohlbauch. Parent's - Don't forget to purchase iPad insurance for your 7th - 12th grade students. The district highly suggest every student purchase this insurance. The cost is $15 per school year. It covers all accidental breakage to the iPad itself. It does not cover the charger, iPad case, or Apple Pencil. Without insurance the fine for a broken iPad are as follows:
1st incident of breakage - $25
2nd incident of breakage - $50
3rd + incident of breakage $100
The incidents of breakage are tracked through the life of the student, so if your student broke an iPad last year and did not have insurance it cost you $25. If they break one this year and still do not have insurance the cost is $50.
iPad insurance may be purchased and paid for through online registration. If you wish to not pay online you can come in to pay or send in money with your student. The deadline to purchase insurance is August 31st.

Don't worry about sending money for breakfast/lunch to school with your child this year, simply set up an account with EZ School pay and you can add money to their account with a few easy clicks. Parents can now complete Online Registration using the Parent Teacher Ease app, in addition to the website. The app will require an update to get the new functionality, so if you already have the app downloaded you will have to update it to be able to complete online registration.
