Area High School students and their parents can explore a wide variey of higher education options at the 2021 Regional College Fair, Wednesday, September 15, 2021, 6-8pm in the Parkland College Donald C. Dodds Jr. Athletic Center. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Final Reminder - Deadline for payment is September 7th @ 3:00 PM. Another quick reminder that the deadline to purchase iPad insurance for your 7th - 12th grade student is September 7th at 3:00 PM. The cost is $15 and that will cover any iPad breakage for the entire school year. It does not cover the iPad case, charger, or Apple Pencil. Mrs. Klopfleisch worked with Creative Writing students to kick off a unit on poetry and lyrics. Students could choose from several stations- from reading poetry and lyrics, to creating poetry by blacking out words from old book pages.

The communities of Arcola and Tuscola came together Friday night for the Cola War's football game, but they also came together to Tackle Hunger and help the Eastern Illinoi foodbank. Together, we raised enough money to feed 1,320 people for a day! Here is the breakdown: Tuscola: $410.12 in monetary donations. Arcola: $909.67 in monetary donations.

Does your 7th- 12th grader have iPad insurance for the 2021-2022 school year? If not, we highly encourage all students to purchase this insurance. The cost is $15 and it covers the iPad for the entire year. The insurance applies to the iPad only, it does not cover the iPad case, charger, or Apple Pencil. Insurance must be paid in full by September 7th to be valid this school year. Payments should be turned into Mrs. Hohlbauch or the Jr. Sr. High Office.
