Another physical note- Sarah Bush will not be holding our annual physical date with the sports boosters for $20 this year. We are trying to find options for ease of our parents and students but as of right now have nothing scheduled. Will communicate any changes.
The IHSA announced yesterday that physicals will be required as normal for fall sports. We highly recommend making your appointment as soon as possible.

Congratulations to Beau Smothers for signing with Roosevelt University in Peoria to play baseball. Peoria Head Baseball Coach Clint Jeffers has announced the signing of Landon Beau Smothers from Arcola Community High School for the 2020-21 season.
Smothers was named to the 2019 News-Gazette All-Area Honorable Mention Team while at Arcola Community High School. The incoming Laker plays both first base and right field and played travel ball for Champaign Dream.
Smothers will study business administration beginning this fall at Roosevelt University
Just a reminder, if you haven’t picked up your P.E items from your junior high locker you may do so today until 3pm.
Update: Junior High P.E items can be picked up on Monday & Tuesday of next week from 8-3pm. Any items that are not picked up after Tuesday will be donated to the guidance student closet.

High School Bound!
We are recognizing our 8th graders with a "drive by" promotion ceremony at 7:00 pm tonight. Students and parents will gather at the south side of the high school at 6:30, where they will remain in their cars. A staff member will be present to direct cars to the appropriate location.

From The Libman Company: Today's $1000 scholarship recipient is Arcola High School Senior Diego Perez. He will be attending Parkland College as he prepares for a career in physical therapy. We congratulate Diego on his graduation and wish him the best of luck in his future!
Don't forget to drop off all school issued items today by 4:00 PM. Jr. Sr High students drop off outside the High School office and Elementary students drop off at the cafeteria doors.
