Just to clarify Jr. Sr. High students and parents only need to come to the school if they need to pick up something for the school they will need over closure. It is not required that you come in.

Dear Arcola Community. All school district facilities will be closed to the community beginning at 12:01 am on Tuesday, March 17 through 11:59 pm Monday, March 30.This includes all work out facilities

Based on recent developments with confirmed cases in neighboring counties and testing being done in our county, we have made the decision to cancel school for students tomorrow, Monday, March 16. Staff will report for a regular day of work. In addition, the building will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for students and parents to come and pick up any items that will be needed over break. You will need to check into the office upon arrival. We recommend that a limited amount of people come to the building to collect materials. Again, there are no confirmed cases in Douglas County but we are trying to do our part to prevent the spread of the virus. I will be posting more information tonight regarding learning activities over the mandated school closure.

Seniors-- The local scholarship applications are still due by Wednesday (3/18). You may either turn them in at school tomorrow or submit them electronically through the Class of 2020 Google Classroom through Wednesday. Contact Mrs. Mendez with questions.
