Tim Ryan Speaks
“From Dope to Hope” guest speaker Tim Ryan will be at Arcola High School on Tuesday, April 16th at 6:30 pm. Mr. Ryan will be sharing life story as a drug addict and how he's using that to help others recover and transform their lives. This is a free event and open to the community. Come listen to Tim Ryan's inspiring message!

7th and 8th grade students will be taking the IAR state tests starting tomorrow. It is very important that all students be prepared for this test by having their iPad fully charged each day. They are also required to have a pair of headphones or earbuds for this test. Students are encouraged to get plenty of rest the night before testing and to eat a good breakfast. Coming soon “From Dope to Hope “speaker Tim Ryan will be at Arcola on April 16th at the Nancy Stiff Gymnasium. We are excited to have Tim Ryan speak for our Douglas County students, staff, and community about his experience with drug addiction. He not only overcame it but is now working to help others. Tim’s mission has been to help one addict at a time transform their lives from dope to hope. There will be 3 separate times for the assembly on Tuesday, April, 16th. The HS Assembly will be at 9:30am, Jr. High Assembly at 1:00pm, and an assembly open to the community and parents at 6:30pm.
