SUPPORTING OUR SPECIAL OLYMPIC ATHLETES... Vanessa Duncan, Asst. Dir. Of Development, Special Olympics Region I, held a Kick Off for Respect Awareness Campaign assembly this afternoon. The message: Be more inclusive, get out and support each other. This year, Arcola is designated a Special Olympic Unified Champion School, for the ways we support Special Olympics throughout the year.
Freshmen Orientation will be rescheduled to Wednesday, February 6 at 6:00 p.m.

The Arcola School District has cancelled school and all school activities including practices for Wednesday, January 30 due to the projected extreme cold temperatures. In addition, the district will have a “late start” on Thursday, January 31 starting at 10:00 am. The buildings will be open at 9:30 am for students to be dropped off. Anyone that normally does NOT ride a bus but will need a ride that day, please contact Gould Transportation at 253-2232.

Freshmen Orientation has been moved to Thursday, January 31. Session 1 @ 5:30pm (last names A-K & volleyball team) and Session 2 @ 6:30pm (last names L-Z). This is a mandatory event-- you will be signing up for freshmen classes!
All activities for tonight have been canceled. Boys basketball game vs. LSA has been tentatively rescheduled for 2.14.19 with JV starting at 6pm. HS boys will have practice.
