Tuesday, March 20 from 6:00-8:00 in Jr. High Gym
Thursday, March 22 from 6:00-8:00 in Jr. High Gym
Tryouts Monday, April 2nd at 2:00 in Jr High Gym (make sure you are back if your family is out of town for Easter!)
For Clinics & Tryouts – wear black shorts, white or purple shirts, hair in pony tail, bow if you have one, NO JEWELRY.
You need to plan to attend at least one of the two clinics, but two are encouraged.
Yes, everyone makes the team, but individual goals are going to be set based on performance evaluation scores.
Parent meeting will be scheduled in early April so we can kick this year off right!

We will be trying to start the softball game a little early due to impending weather.

Any student who will receive a heart scan from Sarah Bush will leave the high school at 8:30am on Saturday.

All 7th and 8th grade students will be taking the PARCC this week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Please encourage your child to get a good nights sleep and to eat breakfast each day. Also, all students need to have their iPads fully charged and a pair of earbuds or headphones to use daily. Students are allowed to bring a snack if they choose to but some will be provided.

Congratulations to 173 students who earned 96% or above for 3rd quarter, 72 of these students had perfect attendance. Students received a token of appreciation from Mrs. Sigrist for their fantastic attendance!


FFA field trip to Fair Oaks Farm in Indiana Wednesday. Fair Oaks Farm is the home to 35,000 cows. Many of our FFA students were able to witness the live birth of a calf in the birthing room.

Congratulations to the following students for having their artwork accepted to the 9th annual Eric Show: Sara Hartman, Shelby Hall, Crystal Cabrera, Molly Dawson, Alexis Guajardo, Clayton Leach, Dahlyla Pena, and Quincy Miller.
The Eric Show will be on display until March 31st at the Illini Union Art Gallery.

One last day in NYC - American Museum of Natural History, another walk through Central Park for one last group picture, a walk down 5th Avenue, and a stop at the bakery.
