Larry has 3 daughters, 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 2 great-granddaughters and 1 great-grandson. Larry is from Effingham, IL.


Sgt. Alexandra Leal was part of the 1544th Transportation Company, a National Guard unit in Paris, Illinois. At 19, from March 2003-February 2005, she was stationed on one of the most mortared bases in Iraq serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Tickets are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. Contact the high school office to get your tickets asap. Tickets are on sale through Thursday, October 22nd and Herff Jones will draw the winner on Friday, October 23rd.

Just to clear up any confusion from reading the school calendar, we DO have school tomorrow.

Arcola High School Guidance Department will host a Financial Aid Process Presentation - October 1, 2020 in the Junior High Gym.
Presentation in English will begin at 6:30pm. Presentation in Spanish will begin at 7:30pm.
This virtual presentation outlines the general financial aid process and provides insight on how financial aid works, how to apply for it, student eligibility, and how it can be used to help pay for college. It introduces the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) along with summarizing state and federal aid programs among other topics.
Masks and social distancing are required. A health screen will be completed before entering.
