Just a quick reminder that iPad insurance must be paid by this Friday at 3:00 PM. Please note, the insurance must be paid in full to have the coverage. With the announcement of the USDA waiver for Free Breakfast/Lunch for all students through December we wanted to remind everyone where you can find our new and improved menus.

We take our education, health & safety seriously at AHS. And sometimes we take it outside. Desks spaced at least 6', a tent for shade, & our gorgeous East steps can give us a break from masks without interrupting our learning. And we get some much-needed Vitamin D.
All physicals and current immunization records are due to the school by October 15th, 2020. This applies to all in-person and remote learners in Kindergarten, 6th , 9th, 12th grades.
Kindergarten - Needs a current physical, immunizations, eye exam, and dental exam.
6th Grade - Needs a current physical, immunizations, and dental exam.
9th Grade - Needs a current school physical, a sports physical can not be accepted.
12th Grade - Needs to provide proof of a 2nd Meningococcal vaccine

Today would have been our first football game of the season. Things are a little different this year for our players, coaches, and fans. Tony isn't lining the field, the money boxes aren't ready, and the press box is closed. For the first time in 27 years, Coach Lindsey isn't packing his Friday night football bag. We are very proud of our players and coaches who have put in all the work they have so far.
On a scale of 1-10 how much do you miss seeing the Purple Riders on the field?
Just a little reminder that if you have not purchased iPad insurance for your Jr. Sr. High Student, the deadline is September 11th.
We highly recommend all Jr. Sr. High students purchase this insurance. It covers the students device for the entire year, for $15. The coverage will take care of all accidental breakage to the iPad during the school year. It does not cover the iPad case, apple pencil, or iPad charger.

Just a reminder that if you plan on attending the golf match today that ALL spectators must be masked at all times per IHSA guidelines. Please also maintain social distancing as well.

We will have a tour of the JH and other areas for 7th graders who have chosen to learn in-person tomorrow at 1pm. Please wear face coverings and report to the JH Gym and sit on the blue tape in the bleachers.
Good morning! If you find a school library book at home, please return it when you pick up your remote learning information or when you report to school on Thursday. If it is more convenient, you can place your books in the dropbox at the Arcola Public Library and they will get the books to us.
