Arcola welcomes Elizabeth Robison as new 7th Grade English Teacher. Elizabeth is a veteran teacher that comes to Arcola from the Windsor School District. Elizabeth will primarily be teaching junior high English but she is also certified to teach high school English and will occasionally be teaching a high school class as well. Elizabeth will be teaching right down the hallway from her sister-in-law Carrie Schutzbach! Welcome to Arcola, Elizabeth.

Arcola welcomes Emily Henderson as the new 5-12 Band and HS Choir teacher. Emily is a recent graduate of Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL. She grew up in Herscher, Illinois where she was very active in both band and chorus. Emily indicated that she loves the small town feel of Arcola and could immediately see the community support for the fine arts programs here in Arcola. We welcome Emily to the land of the Purple Riders!
Arcola Our Town will happen this Friday, August from 4-8 pm at the Arcola Pavilion. There will be lots of fun for all ages, especially for kids!
Seniors-- If you signed up for online ENG-101 through Parkland but haven't yet turned your dual credit form into the office, please do so ASAP.

For $15 you could have the peace of mind that all accidental damage will be covered for the 2019-2020 school year, plus other great benefits. Attention Class of 2019- If you ordered graduation pictures and have not picked them up, please do so asap. The High School Office is open Mon.-Thurs. 8-12; 1-3 and 8-12 on Friday.

Each part of the drill and music learned takes communication between everyone on the field to make it all come together. We have been participating in games like the human knot to help us learn to work together.”
Reminder there will be a parent/player meeting tonight at 6pm for high school fall sports in the JH Gym. This includes Golf, Cheer, Football, Volleyball.
Don't forget to purchase iPad insurance for your student(s) in grades 7th - 12th. For only $15 a year you can cover any accidental damage to the iPad. This does not cover the iPad case or the Apple Pencil. iPad insurance must be purchased withing the first 2 weeks of school.

If you have not registered your student(s) for the 2019-2020 school year it is simple. Registration can be completed online at teacherease.com. If you do not have a log in for Teacher Ease all you have to do is email jhohlbauch@arcolaschool.com, and provide your email address to link to your student(s). We will also have in house registration where you can complete the process on the computers in our lab. In house registration will be held on August 6th from 7:00 - 9:00 AM and 3:00 - 7:00 PM.
