The Arcola School District is seeking candidates for a full-time paraprofessional for the elementary school. This person will be working with students in Grades K-6 doing reading interventions under the guidance of a teacher. Required qualifications include: having a love for children; being dependable; and having either a paraprofessional, teaching or substitute license. 2019 Fall Parent Player meeting will be held on July 31st at 6:00 PM. Any student participating in a fall sport must have a parent attend this meeting. Prior to the meeting we encourage parents to complete the sports registration for their athlete at https://il.8to18.com/ArcolaHS. At the meeting we will collect the athletes $20 participation fee and proof of insurance.
Reminder - fall sports practices start August 12th and all athletes must have the following completed and turned in before they can start practice:
- update physical
- registered and paid for school
- provide proof of insurance
- pay the $20 athlete fee
- complete sports registration on 8 to 18

Don't forget to get your student(s) registered for the upcoming school year at www.teacherease.com. If you do not have a log in, please email jhohlbauch@arcolaschools.com with your email address, your student(s) names, and grade levels they will be in. You do not have to pay online when doing online registration, you can send payment in later or drop payment off to one of the school offices. Marching Purple Riders and parents: There will be a marching band parent/student (8th-12th grade) informational meeting on Tuesday, July 16th at 6:30pm in the band room!

The American Legion Girls State Qualifiers at EIU last week.
Last week's lifters of the week were Ella Hopkins and Chloe Bickel and this week's winners are KayLee Hohlbauch and Delaney Melton. Between football and girls sports, over 80 athletes have been working hard in the weight room! Keep up the good work!

- Fill out the health information fully and notify Nurse Stenger of any health issues for your student(s)
