"Football does not build character it reveals it"
What an awesome shot taken by a parent after our win at last nights game vs Cumberland.
This image speaks volume of our coaches and football players. It shows a sign of respect and appreciation to our own teammates and the opposing team.

Arcola will team up with WCIA news to "Tackle Hunger". Bring in any of what they call the Super Six: Canned Meats, Canned Meals, Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruit, Boxed Meals, or Peanut Butter. This will be another part of the Cola Wars, as Tuscola will also be collecting food during the week. The Eastern Illinois Food Bank will pick up the food and weigh it, the school with the heaviest amount will be the winner. They will also be collecting money and food at the gate the night of the game. The food/monetary donations will help "tackle hunger" in our community.
Happy Birthday to the best secretary ever, Mrs.Johns! She was showered with gifts and love from our students and staff. We even had a live mariachi for her and of course we had her spin the birthday wheel!
The great thing about football is that after a while you become more than teammates... you become brothers.
Who's ready for some AHS football?!
Let's go Riders! 🏈💜
Come check out the volleyball team in their season opener tonight at home. JV starts at 6pm!
