
Girls summer weight room will start Tuesday at 10am

Don't forget Sports Physicals this Wednesday, June 6th from 1-5 PM at the Arcola Sarah Bush facility. This is for all incoming 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, & 12th graders. Incoming Freshman are required to have a complete school physical for their Freshman year. The cost is $20 and all the money goes back to our own Arcola Sports Boosters. If you have an Arcola athlete in your house, please plan to attend Wednesday.

After a great season of HS Boys & Girls Track, the team met up for some bowling fun!


The 2017-2018 Officers Perform the Opening Ceremonies for the Official Business portion of FFA Fun Night lastnight. Sydnee Shafer, Secretary; Quinten Helmuth, President; Joel Jarboe, Vice-President; and Camille Klopfleish, Treasurer, all gave their retiring addresses before hanging up their blue jackets.

Arcola Junior High students made solar ovens after analyzing data, testing different design solutions, and combining the best characteristics of each. The students applied scientific principles to design, construct, and test devices that maximized thermal energy. (Using the sun to heat up s'mores and hot dogs.)

The year is almost over! Today we held graduation practice and pictures for the Class of 2018. Now we are resdy for the well ceremony on, Friday May 25th, at 7:30 pm.

SENIOR HONORS NIGHT
AHS held its annual Honors Night tonight, honoring a group of deserving graduating seniors. Thank you to the community members and organizations who also honored our seniors with numerous scholarships and awards. Last night at Prom, Quincy Miller was crowned Queen and Conner Strader King. The Junior class, with sponsors Mrs. Phillips & Mrs. Kessler, put on a fun dance, decorated "Under the Sea". You can see more pictures on the AHS Torch Facebook page.





Congrats to our JH Track team for their performances at sectionals today in Catlin. 7th grade boys and girls got 3rd and 8th grade boys got 2nd. Multiple qualifiers for state next weekend.
